We can answer all of your technical questions directly, without the need to call someone else. Because of this, we have the ability to monitor the progress of your job without relying on someones word. If the progress is not what it needs to be, we have the ability to recognize that and take the nessessary action required to put your job back on track.
- What makes MFG different?
MFG is comprised of actual Mechanical Engineers, Tool Makers and Gage Makers. We have partnered with over 50 top manufacturers throughout the US. We utilize our experience along with our network of manufacturers to rapidly get your Tooling, Gaging or Parts completed on time and with the quality you expect.
- Who makes up your manufacturing network?
Our network is comprised of some of the top manufacturers in the US. Each one of our partners must meet strict requirements and are audited quarterly by our team. Each manufacturer must maintain a 90% On-Time history to remain part of our network.
Our network is comprised of Turning, Milling (up to 5 axes), WEDM/EDM, ID/OD Grinding, Jig Grinding, and MillTurn shops. They are Tool Shops, Gage Shops, Parts Manufacturers and Calibration Labs; from two man organizations to one hundred.
Under each catagory we have a minimum of (3) suppliers, so if one of our manufacturers reaches capacity, we have others to turn too.
We visit each of the manufacturers in our network periodically to maintain close relationships and access any changes in their organizations.
- Do you rely on one manufacturer to produce my job?
Following a detail analysis of your work, our engineers may choose to utilize one manufacturer in our network if they possess all of the capibilties required. However, if your job is more complex, we may utilze several manufacturers and split up the work between them. No matter what the senerio is, our team members remain in constant contact with them to ensure everything is going to plan.
- Does MFG offer engineering services?
Yes, MFG offers full engineering services. We can design whatever mechanical components you may need. Our people are highly experienced and some of the best in the business. This also allows us to closely monitor our network of machine shops and offer them any technical assistance they may require.
- Who quotes my work?
MFG quotes every job. We control the pricing and set the leadtime. One of the ways we cut costs to our manufacturers is by cutting out the quote process for them. We set the price and send the work to them along with what they are being paid and the turn around time needed. Because of this, they go straight to work. If the price we offer will not work for them they have the ability to decline the work and it is offered to another source.
Because we understand the processes and expenses incurred to operate a machine shop, are pricing is accepted 95% of the time.
